NWBOCA’s Family Night

On Saturday, August 30th, NWBOCA is sponsoring a “Family Night” for our members, their families, and friends.  We have secured a limited number of tickets for a game between the Kane County Cougars, the Oakland A’s minor league baseball team, and the Peoria Chiefs, the Cub’s minor league team coached by Ryne Sandberg. The game is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.  There will be a fireworks show after the game as well as an opportunity to run the bases.  For information about directions to the stadium, visit their website at kccougars.com or reach them at 630-232-8811.

The tickets I have are “first come first serve” and are $10.00 each.  If the response is greater than expected, we can obtain additional tickets. However, you need to contact me by July 15th.  Of course you can decide at a later date to attend the game, I just don’t know how close your seating will be to our group.  If you are interested in getting together outside of the workplace and enjoying a fun night of watching baseball please plan on joining us.  To reserve your tickets, or if you have any questions, please call me at 847-509-5322 or email poterek@northbrook.il.us.
